Designed with new and seasoned scleral lens fitters in mind, the Europa Tangent helps simplify the fitting process by using a three-zone fitting system, so you can focus on the changes you want – not the ones you don’t. At Visionary Optics, we believe customized fittings don’t need to be complex.
To make fitting success even easier for you, we recently released the Europa Tangent Fitting Card which highlights the fitting process for the lens.
By using the front of the card, you can see the versatility of adjusting the central sagittal height through precise steps or base curve modifications, while also spotlighting the limbus, and its adaptability through the step system or diameter adjustments.
On the reverse side, the tangential landing zone takes center stage. Here, our trial lens demonstrates optimal scleral alignment, complemented by three additional lenses featuring progressively flatter landing zones, examined through fluorescein and OCT imaging.
Additionally, we present three steeper lenses imaged on the same eye, revealing insights into compression and impingement through detailed slit lamp photography and OCT imaging.
